Tempo Aerospace Inc. is a specialty manufacturer of high quality aircraft and transportation polyurethane and epoxy topcoats and primers. Founded in 1956 as the Tempo Paint and Varnish Company, Tempo has nearly 50 years experience in making specification-compliant products for Boeing, Canadair, de Havilland, the Canadian Department of National Defence and the US Military. As well, its “Duramar” line of transportation finishes have achieved an enviable reputation as a first choice for premium fleet and equipment applications.

In August 2000, Tempo became part of the Allcolour Coatings Group with access to additional technological and financial resources. Since then, Tempo has accelerated its development of new technology, environmentally friendlier, high-solids and water-borne products to meet the most demanding application requirements.

In 2002, Tempo became ISO 9001:2000 registered, one the first Canadian coatings manufacturers to achieve this. Registration to the newest ISO standard affirms Tempo’s long-standing commitment to quality standards.

In addition to its extensive range of approved primers and topcoats, Tempo also manufactures coatings for various military applications.
